With a long-standing presence in the space, the business works closely with management teams to drive both operational and strategic improvements, helping portfolio companies scale and deliver long-term value. As the business continues to grow, they are now seeking a newly qualified accountant to join as a Management Accountant in the high‑calibre finance team based in Central London. The role will provide a broad mix of corporate responsibilities, offering excellent visibility and the opportunity to develop a well‑rounded skill set within industry. There will also be the opportunity to support the fund finance function during busy periods and as it relates to the firm's corporate activities.

This position presents an outstanding opportunity for a first‑time mover to gain hands‑on exposure across financial reporting, fund operations, and high‑value activities such as budgeting, forecasting and analysis. Example responsibilities include:

  • Supervise daily finance activities, including maintenance of the general ledger, accounting functions, and financial systems
  • Oversee banking relationships, execute payment processes, and manage month‑end close activities such as journal postings
  • Produce quarterly group financial statements and prepare management reporting packages
  • Provide analysis of profit and loss, along with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow and liquidity insights
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and support tax‑related obligations
  • Act as a key contact for external auditors and advisors, coordinating statutory reporting and year‑end audit processes
  • Assist with fund‑related operations, reporting, and valuation activities, while supporting the setup of new fund structures and banking frameworks
  • Contribute to the calculation of investor distributions and carried interest allocations

The successful candidate will be an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant with experience in a small‑to‑medium sized accountancy practice, ideally with experience in preparing accounts and tax as well as audit.
