The firm has established a strong reputation in the market and is widely regarded as a sector expert across its core focus areas. Backed by an institutional investor base and demonstrating consistent portfolio performance, the business is now entering an exciting new phase of growth. As part of this expansion, they are seeking a Finance Manager to join their high‑calibre team in London.
Working closely with the founders and senior leadership, the Finance Manager will have full oversight of fund and firm finance as well providing support to portfolio company valuations, fundraising, deal support and leading AI integration and automation throughout the organisation. This position offers an excellent platform to build broad, hands‑on and commercial experience within venture capital.
Example responsibilities include:
- Finance
- Coordinating quarterly and annual LP reporting alongside the outsourced fund administration function
- Assist with the operational aspects of capital calls and distributions, including reviewing workings and notices as well as fielding investor requests
- Support the preparation of valuation assessments for fund and co‑investment positions in line with IPEV guidelines
- Prepare quarterly financial performance reports against budget and contribute to the annual budgeting process
- Own the day‑to‑day bookkeeping and ledger maintenance for the UK LLP
- Fundraising, Deal Support and Operations
- Provide middle and back‑office support on new investments and exits
- Supporting transaction tax analysis
- Support new Fund and SPV formation, including structuring and documentation for co‑investments
- Assist throughout fundraising processes, including marketing support, due diligence, coordination and investor onboarding
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 2-5 years PQE in either fund or financial accounting within private equity, venture capital or similar investment fund in London.
