What we are looking for

With significant changes to UK employment law taking effect across 2026 and 2027, businesses are reviewing how they recruit, manage, restructure, and engage their workforces. At the same time, many are navigating sensitive employee relations matters, organisational change, international growth, and increased regulatory and litigation risk.

We are therefore expanding our curated network of senior employment lawyers interested in interim, fractional, and project-based consulting engagements.

We are particularly interested in commercially-minded employment specialists who can work closely with General Counsel, People leaders, founders, boards, and senior management teams. Our consultants combine technical expertise with sound judgement, empathy, and a practical understanding of how employment issues affect the wider business.

We value the full breadth of experience developed over a legal career: the confidence to handle sensitive situations, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and the judgement to balance legal risk with commercial and people considerations.

We would particularly like to hear from lawyers who:

• Have significant experience advising on UK employment law at a senior level
• Have worked within an in-house legal or People function, leading law firm, or consulting environment
• Can advise confidently on both day-to-day employee relations and complex, business-critical employment matters
• Understand the pace, ambiguity, and commercial pressures associated with scaling, investor-backed, or transforming businesses
• Can handle sensitive and confidential matters with sound judgement and discretion
• Can integrate quickly, work autonomously, and deliver meaningful outcomes from the outset
• Enjoy transferring knowledge and leaving clients with stronger processes, documentation, and internal capability

Relevant experience may include employment advisory, workplace investigations, discrimination and harassment, whistleblowing, restructurings and redundancies, TUPE, trade unions and industrial relations, executive exits, Employment Tribunal litigation, workforce transformation, and employment aspects of corporate transactions.

Experience within technology, financial services, healthcare, life sciences, energy, infrastructure, professional services, or other fast-changing and highly regulated sectors may be particularly relevant to our clients.

You may already be an established legal consultant, be developing a portfolio career, or be considering moving from an in-house or private practice role into more flexible consulting work.
