Altern8 Legal is looking to speak with experienced leveraged and debt finance lawyers regarding a senior interim engagement with a leading US law firm in London. The firm is looking to add experienced transactional capacity to its finance practice for an initial 6 months or more, with the opportunity to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing matters.
The opportunity:
- We are particularly interested in lawyers with strong experience across leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and related debt financing transactions.
- Relevant backgrounds could include sponsor or lender-side leveraged finance, private credit/direct lending, refinancings, restructurings or other complex secured financing work.
- You will ideally have trained and/or practised within a leading UK, US or international law firm and be comfortable working directly with Partners and clients while remaining hands-on with transaction execution.
- The target level is approximately 5–8 PQE, although we are happy to consider closely aligned lawyers either side of this range where the experience is particularly relevant.
The engagement:
- Duration: Initially 6 months+, with potential to extend
- Commitment: full-time with scope for flexibility
- Location: London hybrid, with some office attendance expected
- Rate: Highly competitive
