Help ambitious businesses build, scale, and navigate change. Altern8 Legal is looking to speak with experienced leveraged and debt finance lawyers regarding a senior interim engagement with a leading US law firm in London. The firm is looking to add experienced transactional capacity to its finance practice for an initial 6 months or more, with the opportunity to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing matters.
The opportunity includes:
- Strong experience across leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and related debt financing transactions.
- Relevant backgrounds could include sponsor or lender-side leveraged finance, private credit/direct lending, refinancings, restructurings or other complex secured financing work.
- Ideally trained and/or practised within a leading UK, US or international law firm.
- Comfortable working directly with Partners and clients while remaining hands-on with transaction execution.
The target level is approximately 5–8 PQE, although closely aligned lawyers either side of this range may be considered where the experience is particularly relevant.
The engagement details are as follows:
- Duration: Initially 6 months+, with potential to extend
- Commitment: full-time with scope for flexibility
- Location: London hybrid, with some office attendance expected
- Rate: Highly competitive
