Overview

We are currently working with a leading engineering organisation based in Cambridge, focused on developing advanced RF and high-frequency electronic systems used across telecommunications, space, and defence applications. They are looking to hire a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge electronic products.

The Role

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will take ownership of designs from concept through to production. You will be working in a multidisciplinary environment alongside RF, software, and firmware engineers to deliver high-performance, reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits, including mixed-signal systems
  • Develop signal conditioning circuits, filters, amplifiers, and power supply modules
  • Design digital systems using microprocessors, ADCs, DACs, and associated logic
  • Capture schematics and support PCB design, including materials and stack-up
  • Perform simulation, component selection, and produce detailed technical specifications
