Altera Recruitment Group is working with a growing infrastructure and utilities contractor supporting major UK frameworks. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint a Street Works Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for permit management, compliance and street works coordination. This is a key leadership role focused on driving operational efficiency, reducing risk and ensuring full compliance across utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Street Works team, overseeing permits, registrations and closures
- Ensure compliance with NRSWA, TMA and Street Manager regulations
- Monitor team performance, productivity and workload distribution
- Drive process improvements to reduce fines, delays and compliance risks
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to support project delivery
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing Street Works teams within the utilities sector
- Strong knowledge of NRSWA, TMA and permitting regulations
- Experience using Street Manager and utility work management systems
- Strong leadership, organisation and performance management skills
- Full UK driving licence
