Working closely with the Lead Engineer and Project Managers, you'll play a key role in delivering engineering projects from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of specific project tasks, acting as the go-to contact for technical, cost, and schedule management.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure it meets both internal standards and customer expectations.
- Assist in the creation of accurate cost estimates for project components and support bid proposals.
- Ensure engineering activities comply with contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Define and coordinate testing and trial activities, liaising with customers and internal teams where needed.
- Compile and submit detailed reports and documentation to support project milestones and reviews.
- Provide technical information for use in manuals, guides, and other publications.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Degree, HNC, or HND or degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience working with aircraft systems or equipment (desirable but not essential).
