Our client is seeking a skilled Production Technician to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing processes, ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Technician include:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment to achieve consistent output and product quality.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols while actively contributing to process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, supporting lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-organised workplace.

Candidate Requirements

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including occasional night shifts when required.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Awareness of risk assessments, with the capability to suggest improvements for enhanced safety and efficiency.
  • Background in automated production and/or working with low-volume, high-value products (advantageous).
