Altera Recruitment Group is partnering with a specialist advanced COMAH site operating at the forefront of the energy transition. Supporting customers across the automotive, aviation, marine, motorsport and energy sectors, this innovative organisation develops bespoke fuel solutions that improve performance while helping reduce environmental impact.
As Key Account Manager, you will become the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high profile customers, taking ownership of specialist projects from enquiry through to delivery. This is a highly varied commercial role where relationship management, organisation and attention to detail are critical to success. Working closely with commercial, technical, operations and logistics teams, you will ensure complex customer requirements are delivered efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service across a global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and develop trusted relationships with key clients, acting as the primary contact for specialist commercial projects.
- Coordinate the end to end delivery of bespoke fuel blends, managing quality assurance, logistics, documentation and customer communication.
- Support the commercial team with quotations, tenders, RFQs and contract management.
- Manage customer orders from purchase order through to delivery, ensuring accurate planning, stock availability and order fulfilment.
- Work collaboratively across technical, production and logistics teams to deliver exceptional customer service and continuous improvement.
- Previous experience managing key customer accounts within a commercial or technical environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with high profile customers.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of import, export or customs processes would be advantageous.
- A salary of £40,000-£55,000 depending on experience.
