Operating at the intersection of process engineering, low-carbon fuels, and industrial scale-up, the business is moving rapidly from advanced R&D into pilot and early commercial deployment.
This is a key delivery role for an Engineering Project Manager who thrives in technically complex environments and enjoys taking emerging technologies from concept through to real-world implementation. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of engineering projects across early-stage development, pilot build, and scale-up, working closely with internal technical teams and external partners.
Key responsibilities of the Engineering Project Manager include:
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept and FEED through to pilot and early commercial delivery
- Own project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management ensuring delivery against agreed milestones
- Coordinate internal engineers, external contractors, suppliers, and research partners to maintain delivery momentum
- Provide clear project reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders including progress, risks, and mitigations
- Support the transition of novel process technologies from R&D into build, commissioning, and operation
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline (chemical, process, mechanical, or similar)
- Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects within process, energy, or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of early-stage technology development, FEED, and scale-up challenges
- Confident stakeholder manager comfortable working with engineers, scientists, suppliers, and senior leaders
- Pragmatic delivery-focused mindset suited to a growing fast-paced clean technology business
