Altera Recruitment Group is working with a well-established process engineering company delivering projects across water treatment, energy and environmental sectors. With continued growth across the Midlands, they are now looking to appoint an Electrical Technician to support installation and commissioning activities on clean water and wastewater projects. This is a hands-on role offering strong long-term development within a growing MEICA environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Technician include:

  • Install and commission electrical and MEICA systems on-site
  • Carry out MCC power-up, motor checks and I/O testing
  • Set up and calibrate instrumentation (including 4–20 mA signals)
  • Support commissioning activities, including FATs and SATs
  • Fault find, test and ensure systems are ready for handover

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ / C&G Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or time-served apprentice)
  • 18th Edition (BS7671) qualification
  • Experience in MEICA installation and commissioning
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving license
