Altera Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of an established Energy from Waste operator for a Maintenance Team Leader (EC&I) to join a modern and technically advanced Energy Recovery Facility in Leicestershire. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead a secure team and be responsible for the safe delivery of all electrical, controls and instrumentation maintenance activities. The role offers a genuine 50/50 split between hands on engineering and leadership, planning and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead planned, preventative and reactive EC&I maintenance activities
- Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance across site
- Supervise EC&I technicians, contractors and service partners
- Fault finding across DCS, PLC and instrumentation systems
- Manage work through the site CMMS and support outage planning
- Maintain CEMS compliance and lead continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- HNC or equivalent in Electrical, Controls or Instrumentation engineering, or apprenticeship trained
- Experience within energy, process plant, power generation or similar environments
- Strong all round EC&I knowledge including HV, LV and control systems
- Ability to read P&IDs, schematics and technical drawings
- Supervisory or leadership experience, or readiness to step into a first leadership role
Package
- £58,000 salary
- Up to 10 percent site bonus
