Industrial Maintenance Electrician
Altera Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation within the Energy from Waste sector to recruit an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician for a permanent position based in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering team responsible for maintaining critical electrical systems across a modern industrial processing facility.
The Maintenance Electrician will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability through planned preventative maintenance, rapid fault diagnosis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure maximum plant reliability and operational performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical equipment, including motors, control panels, switchgear, cabling and associated control systems.
- Support plant shutdowns, maintenance outages and improvement projects while working alongside operational teams and specialist contractors.
- Perform electrical isolations, testing and commissioning activities in accordance with site procedures and safe systems of work.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, safety and engineering excellence.
