This opportunity for an Electrical Technician will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency across a busy industrial plant, supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities, troubleshooting electrical issues, and contributing to plant reliability.
We are seeking a hands-on, technically capable Electrical Technician with strong fault-finding expertise and experience working in an industrial or process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work across a large scale anaerobic digestion facility to support operational continuity.
- Investigate and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimise disruption and downtime across plant systems.
- Support the upkeep and performance of industrial machinery, control systems, and associated equipment.
- Participate in an out of hours on call rota, responding to operational requirements and emergency maintenance needs when required.
- Develop an understanding of the site SCADA platform to support informed operational decision making during on call periods.
- Recognised electrical qualification with experience as an Electrician or Multi-Skilled Engineer in an industrial setting.
- Proven maintenance and fault-finding capability within manufacturing, process, energy, utilities, or plant environments.
- Comfortable working flexibly, including participation in a rotating on call schedule and reactive maintenance activity.
- Strong technical problem solving skills with a proactive and safety conscious approach to maintenance.
- Must be located within approximately one hour of site to support call out response requirements.
- Competitive salary package of £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on experience.
- Attractive on call allowance of £460 per week during rota participation.
- Overtime compensation for call out work, with travel time paid from departure from home through to return.
