Now looking for an experienced Lead Design Engineer or Design Manager to join their growing team and take ownership of multi-disciplinary design delivery across a range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Whether your background is in Process, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, this is an opportunity to lead talented engineers, influence project strategy, and play a key role in shaping the next generation of engineering solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading multi-disciplinary design teams across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process and ICA disciplines
- Managing design delivery, technical quality and project risk
- Reviewing calculations, drawings, reports and design documentation
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and CDM regulations
- Supporting construction teams and resolving technical queries
- Driving innovation, value engineering and continuous improvement
- Mentoring and developing engineers within the team
- Acting as a key technical contact for clients and stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering projects
- Water or wastewater infrastructure design experience
- Strong understanding of design risk and CDM responsibilities
- Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams
- Client-facing experience and stakeholder engagement skills
- A track record of delivering innovative or value-engineered solutions
