Altera Infrastructure are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled Storekeeper to join our dynamic team. This role places you at the heart of a cutting‑edge project, starting with a short yard phase prior to transitioning to offshore operations. On offer is the chance to join a rapidly growing team on a 2:3 rotation for Offshore Operations. Our modern FPSO, the Petrojarl Rosebank, will be deployed to the Rosebank oil and gas field. The vessel has undergone life extension work, modifications for field specifics and enhanced energy efficiency.
We are looking for our next Offshore Storekeeper. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the day-to-day activities of the team are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with the company HSEQ policies.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations, contractual requirements, and relevant management systems.
- Perform duties as assigned by line manager.
- The Storekeeper is responsible for the administration of stores, spare parts and materials, keeping up to date records in the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Accountable for the issue, control and restock of issued materials.
- Ensure material requisitions are fully populated and progressed through the approval process.
- Preparation of cargo manifest for receipt of oncoming and off going goods.
- Check and verify received goods against original order and distribute as required.
- Liaise closely with Asset Purchaser to verify correct materials are ordered, emphasis on important high priority items to ensure they arrive in a timely manner.
- Partake in regular stock checks, min/max and critical spares reviews.
- Prepare any dangerous goods and associated paperwork for transportation onshore.
- Co‑ordinate waste management for shipping items onshore for disposal.
- Raising Over Shortage and Damage reports for poor service, defective or incorrectly supplied equipment or materials.
- Ensure all stores areas are maintained and kept in a tidy state.
- You will be part of the Emergency Response Team and will be expected to carry out duties in accordance with the asset Emergency Response Plan.
Qualifications:
- Dangerous Goods by Sea & Air.
- Dangerous Goods Class 7 (preferred).
- Compliance with training matrix for the position.
