ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD UK Ltd provides sub-contract semiconductor packaging and assembly services for a wide range of semiconductor and photonics devices.

We are looking for a customer focused individual to support our customers and sales team to meet our revenue and EBIT growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience of customer services or sales administration in a technical field.

Responsibilities
  • First line of support for day-to-day customer engagement.
  • Coordinate with customers on material deliveries, communicate order acknowledgements and delivery dates. Update customers in case of issues or delays.
  • Manage repeat business and orders from production customers.
  • Prepare, issue, and track quotations, sales orders, and invoices.
  • Maintain and update CRM / ERP systems and customer records.
  • Monitor order status and proactively update customers on progress.
  • Act as a first point of contact for customer queries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, and logistics to resolve issues and deliver on commitments.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development and Sales team.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and forecasts.
  • Help coordinate customer visits, audits, and events, including ordering lunch and preparing meeting rooms.
  • Manage customer onboarding and agreements such as NDAs and service agreements.
  • General office admin, such as answering the phones/door.
  • Support for departments where needed, i.e. shipping, stores, finance.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Ability to learn, understand and articulate information related to our services.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and a variety of requirements concurrently.
  • Excellent time management skills, highly responsive and organized.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Fluent with Microsoft office tools, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams. Prior experience of CRM, ERP systems and Power BI an advantage.
