Job description
The Market Intelligence & Communications Manager will serve as the central hub for product intelligence, competitive insights, and stakeholder communications across the Private Equity product portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Product - Private Equity, this role is responsible for creating and maintaining a single source of truth for all product materials, competitive intelligence, performance analytics, and client-facing communications. The ideal candidate will partner closely with product leads and the commercial go-to-market (GTM) team to synthesize complex product information into clear, compelling narratives that support sales enablement, client engagement, and internal awareness. This position requires strong analytical capabilities to monitor roadmap execution, track usage metrics, and translate data into actionable insights. The role also encompasses ownership of coordinated release communications and the evolution of design partner programs that ensure client voice drives product innovation. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role that demands excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to distill technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Your responsibilities
- Own the generation and maintenance of all product materials for Private Equity, partnering closely with product leads and the commercial go-to-market (GTM) team to create and maintain a centralized, authoritative source of truth for product capabilities, roadmaps, and positioning.
- Lead the upkeep and centralization of product and technology-related competitive intelligence, establishing systematic processes to capture, organize, and disseminate insights on competitor capabilities, market positioning, and industry trends.
- Produce and distribute regular competitive intelligence summaries across the Private Equity team, highlighting real-time market developments, emerging threats, strategic opportunities, and differentiation points.
- Generate regular product analytics and performance reporting, leveraging product usage metrics, adoption data, and engagement analytics to provide actionable insights on feature utilization, client behavior, and product-market fit.
- Monitor and report on key metrics related to roadmap execution and operational delivery across Private Equity, tracking progress against commitments, identifying risks, and providing visibility to leadership.
- Support and coordinate communications with clients and internal stakeholders, owning the creation and distribution of coordinated release notes for Private Equity that clearly articulate new capabilities, enhancements, and value delivered.
- Maintain and evolve the design partner program for Private Equity, centralizing key topics and feedback themes across product leads and UX teams to ensure client voice systematically informs product strategy and prioritization.
Your profile
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or strategic communications, with demonstrated expertise in product ownership, go-to-market strategy, and stakeholder engagement across complex technology platforms.
- Fluency in Private Equity markets, including strong understanding of investment workflows, data concepts, fund administration, and institutional client needs within alternative investments.
- Proven experience designing and executing communication and training campaigns at scale, leveraging AI and digital tools to create personalized, audience-specific messaging that drives awareness, adoption, and engagement.
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives independently, operating with minimal oversight while managing competing priorities, driving projects to completion, and maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
- Deep understanding of mature commercial organizations and stakeholder dynamics, with demonstrated ability to attain alignment and build consensus across business units, commercial teams, client delivery, product management, and technology through varied and frequent internal communication channels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences including executives, sales teams, clients, and technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with experience in product analytics and metrics tracking, comfortable working with data visualization tools, dashboards, and usage analytics to derive insights and inform decision-making.
