As a member of the Private Equity team, you will be accountable for an efficient processing of end-to-end PE funds NAV, including capital events and specifically responsible for:

  • Taking care of the day-to-day operations of the funds and following up with third parties, including investors and fund managers.
  • Handling the fund accounts and preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports for the fund entities.
  • Maintaining books and records and calculating fund Net Asset Values.
  • Preparing financial statements and associated reports, including performance metrics.
  • Calculating carried interest/performance fees.
  • Preparing calculations and investor allocations for capital calls, distributions and equalizations.
  • Work closely with the Investor Relations team to respond to investor queries and to disseminate capital activity and other investor notices.
  • Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and administrational tasks as required by your managers or clients.

Your Profile

  • You are bachelor’s/master’s level educated in a relevant area such as Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional accounting qualification – CA, CMA, ACCA or similar is highly preferred.
  • A basic knowledge of accounting for investment products; experience of closed-ended funds in the private equity or debt space will be considered as an asset.
  • Familiarity with fund accounting systems such as eFront tool and knowledge on PE EMEA fund structure along with LUX GAAP is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 1 – 5 years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly in Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
  • A team player who can manage individual responsibilities.
  • Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
  • You possess team spirit, a capacity to build strong client relationships, and take initiative to act without waiting for direction (when appropriate).
