Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Sales, Data & Analytics, you will be responsible to sell products in Alter Domus’s Analytics Product suite in the EMEA region.
Role Responsibilities
- You will identify and build a pipeline of software subscription and managed data services business by cross‑selling into existing accounts in collaboration with the Relationship Management team.
- You will source opportunities with new accounts and build pipeline for other target accounts in collaboration with the New Business Development team.
- You will be accountable for ensuring Alter Domus remains alert to competitive trends and analysis in partnership with Sales leadership and colleagues in Product and Marketing.
- You will actively drive and participate in sales and contracting activities such as:
- Serving as product‑level sales domain expertise
- Running discovery meetings and product demonstrations
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals
- Working with the product organization on phase‑two technical demonstrations, scoping, and proof‑of‑value exercises.
- Responding to RFPs
- Negotiating pricing
- Collaborating with legal on contract generation and contract redlines.
Experience & Education
- Minimum 7+ years of direct outside sales experience complemented by measurable success targeting the alternative investment marketplace.
- Experience and a proven track record in selling and demoing SaaS‑based solutions, data management and data extraction services, and/or quantitative models.
- Experience in active sales pipeline management and CRM tools.
- Strong commercial skills to identify, target and build client pipelines with the credibility to open doors and build relationships with alternative asset managers and asset owners.
- Superior business insight, client presentation skills, and commercial acumen.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and influencing capabilities in a global and complex matrix organization.
- Minimum educational attainment of a university degree.
