Your role: As a Private Equity Officer, you will support the day-to-day service delivery of fund administration to a client or portfolio of clients. Working closely with senior team members, your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of financial statements, cash management, and the delivery of a quality client service.
Your responsibilities:
- Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for private equity funds in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Support the calculation and recording of management fees, carried interest, and performance allocations.
- Assist in managing capital calls and distributions to limited partners.
- Reconcile bank accounts, investment positions, and partner capital accounts under supervision.
- Assist in preparing investor capital statements and maintaining detailed investor records.
- Investment Accounting:
- Support the recording and maintenance of portfolio company investments at fair value.
- Assist in tracking acquisition costs, follow-on investments, and realized/unrealized gains and losses.
- Support coordination with valuation teams for quarterly portfolio valuations.
- Process investment transactions including purchases, sales, and dividend income.
- Financial Operations:
- Assist in fund cash management and forecasting.
- Support the processing of expense allocations across multiple fund entities.
- Assist in managing inter-company transactions and fund level expenses.
- Ensure compliance with partnership agreements and fund governing documents.
Your profile:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field - Preferred.
- 0 to 2 years of fund accounting or related experience, preferably in Private Equity, or other Alternatives.
- You have foundation technical skills, including a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Exposure to Investran or eFront accounting platform along with workflow tools, is considered an asset.
- You are eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced client focused environment.
- Fluent English is essential for this role; fluency in other European languages is considered an asset.

Annual gross salary for this position is from 27,000 EUR to 36,000 EUR gross. Final offer will be determined based on your competencies, qualifications and professional experience.
