Job Description

As a manager, you will have day-to-day responsibility for a varied portfolio of PE and Debt clients, and have the following responsibilities:

  • Use experience acquired in the past as well as excellent organisational skills, sound judgment, the ability to prioritise tasks, and strong personal character to help meet client requirements and ensure the overall fund team performs and grows.
  • Act as a central point of contact for your client/clients, capable of identifying and anticipating possible problem areas, accurately measure potential risks, and offer suitable solutions to satisfy their overall needs.
  • Guarantee all operational aspects of the account (inclusive, for instance, client invoicing) and be responsible for the financial monitoring of the client portfolio.
  • Manage relationships with other service providers in the industry, including auditors, law firms, custodians, and prime brokers.
  • Have responsibility for the production of client reporting and checking of Fund NAV reports.
  • Oversee the coordination and validation of all work delivered by the team; assist in the design of systems and processes to meet client needs.
  • Oversee some internal fund projects and work closely with the fund administration IT systems to provide fund servicing solutions.

Your Profile

  • Fully qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA).
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in a Fund Accounting role, including NAV calculation, transfer agent and investor servicing, and tax compliance.
  • Experience in UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
  • High level of experience with consolidation, IFRS/FRS accounting and financial statements preparation.
  • Experience of fund administration IT systems.
  • Ability to act on your own initiative and lead a team of fund administration professionals.
