Role Overview: This role will drive the identification, design and delivery of business process automation and technology adoption initiatives across the Private Credit organisation. The individual will act as a bridge between business strategy and technology execution, leading the end‑to‑end delivery of AI, Agentic AI, Automation and end‑to‑end process simplification use cases, while ensuring colleagues and clients are fully prepared to adopt and maximise the benefits of new tools and ways of working. The role will also play a key part in ensuring that change is delivered effectively, with robust process improvements, controls and governance embedded across impacted workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- AI & Automation Use Case Delivery: Identification, scoping and prioritisation of business process automation and AI/Agentic AI use cases across the function. Orchestration of end‑to‑end use case delivery, working across technology and LoB to move from concept to live deployment. Development of robust business cases, including ROI modelling, risk assessment and strategic alignment, to secure stakeholder and investment approval.
- Business Readiness & Tech Adoption: Development and execution of business readiness strategies to ensure successful implementation of automation and technology change initiatives. Monitoring of technology adoption rates post‑deployment, course correcting where additional readiness activities are required to increase uptake. Development of training materials and process/procedure updates to support deployment of new tools, improving how users interact with existing and new systems.
- Offshore & Near‑Shore Process Quality Optimisation: Ideate and contribute to management of process transitions to offshore and near‑shore delivery centres, ensuring stability and quality of output throughout migration. Development of standardised operating procedures and controls to support consistent process execution across onshore and offshore teams. Identification of processes suitable for offshoring or near‑shoring, building the business case and managing the end‑to‑end transition with minimal disruption to BAU. Embedding continuous improvement frameworks within offshore teams to drive capacity creation, efficiency gains and capability development. Oversight of cross‑regional process standardisation initiatives across APAC, EMEA and Americas, ensuring alignment to global operating model standards. Building and sustaining offshore team capability through structured training, governance frameworks and performance management, ensuring offshore delivery meets onshore quality standards.
- Regulatory Projects & Process Improvement: Identification and analysis of business processes affected by regulatory change, translating regulatory requirements into clear, actionable process improvements. Collaboration with compliance, legal and operational teams to ensure that process changes meet regulatory obligations and that relevant controls are in place. Fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring regulations are observed and that relevant processes are in place to facilitate adherence. Monitoring of regulatory change pipelines to proactively identify upcoming requirements and prepare the business ahead of implementation deadlines. Driving process improvement programmes across regulatory‑affected workflows, leveraging automation and technology where appropriate to increase efficiency, reduce risk and improve auditability. Escalation of breaches of policies and procedures appropriately, ensuring timely remediation and lessons learned are embedded into future process design.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Influence: Negotiating with and influencing senior stakeholders to drive alignment and commitment to change. Providing expert advice to senior functional management and committees, offering input to function‑wide strategic initiatives. Management of resistance to change, ensuring stakeholder concerns are addressed and engagement is maintained throughout delivery. Monitoring the external regulatory environment and advocacy groups to anticipate and respond to emerging regulatory developments that affect AI and Automation on behalf of the function.
- Client Experience Governance: Oversight of client experience governance frameworks to ensure technology and process changes positively impact client outcomes. Acting as a principal contact point for key internal and external stakeholders on client‑facing technology and process change initiatives. Ensuring client servicing and sales partners are prepared and equipped ahead of any technology or process change that affects the client journey.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in business process automation, AI adoption or digital transformation, ideally within financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver AI and Agentic AI use cases from inception through to deployment.
- Strong business case development skills, including financial modelling and investment justification.
- Experience leading regulatory projects and driving process improvement across regulatory‑affected workflows.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks within financial services.
