Test Rig Development Engineer – Defence
Are you an experienced Test Rig Development Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the defence sector? We’re seeking a skilled professional to support cutting-edge projects, working across Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Software disciplines.
- Design, develop, and maintain test rigs, integrating mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software components.
- Develop and implement test automation using LabVIEW & TestStand to ensure efficient and repeatable testing.
- Conduct testing and validation of critical systems, ensuring compliance with defence and safety standards.
- Work with video and photography equipment to capture and analyze test results, enhancing data accuracy and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and optimize test setups, diagnosing issues in hardware and software to improve system performance.
- Ensure test environments meet security and compliance requirements, particularly within a defence setting.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to support system development, testing, and integration.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in Test Rig development.
- Proficiency with National Instruments (NI) programmes, particularly LabVIEW & TestStand.
- Strong background in video recording/photography for test analysis (highly desirable).
- The ability to be Security Cleared for this is a must.
- Minimum Bachelor\’s Degree in a relevant field i.e. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering.
