Join a cutting-edge space programme supporting critical testing and validation activities in a high-spec commercial environment. We are seeking a Vibration Test Engineer to support a major space programme within a leading defence and space organisation. This is a hands-on, lab-based role ideal for someone with experience translating test procedures into practical machining and setup operations in a commercial test lab setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute vibration testing procedures on space hardware and subsystems.
- Translate technical test specifications into practical test setups and machining activities.
- Work flexibly to support a late shift (2pm-10pm) and be available for weekend testing when required.
- Operate and maintain test equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Previous experience in a commercial test laboratory environment.
- Strong understanding of vibration testing methodologies and relevant mechanical processes.
- Practical background in setting up mechanical test rigs and interpreting test documentation.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to non-standard working hours.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain BPSS-level clearance.
