We’re looking for a System Design Engineer to join a high‑profile defence project, contributing to the design of safety‑critical control systems in line with aerospace standards. Responsibilities:

  • Support Preliminary & Critical Design Reviews
  • Review and validate design changes and software high‑level requirements
  • Develop control system requirements for airborne applications
  • Conduct FMEA/FMECA and safety analysis
  • Apply ARP4754, DO-178B/C and DO-254 guidance in a regulated environment
  • Represent systems engineering in cross‑functional reviews

Who are we looking for?

  • Comfortable writing and reviewing system/software requirements
  • Skilled in root cause analysis, lifecycle impact, and change validation
  • Experience with model‑based systems and digital engineering toolsets
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly across teams
  • Knowledge of safety analysis techniques (FMEA, FMECA)
