As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering engineering projects from initiation through to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and technical specialists to ensure project objectives are achieved on time, within scope and within budget. This role is ideal for someone with project management experience, preferably within the Aerospace, Space or Defence sector, who is looking to develop their career in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of engineering and technical projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, plans and risk registers.
  • Coordinate activities across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets and key milestones.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and project governance activities.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a Project Management role.
  • Experience delivering projects within the Aerospace, Space or Defence sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets and project risks.
  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a complex engineering environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience working on highly regulated engineering programmes.
  • Knowledge of aerospace development lifecycles and engineering processes.
  • Understanding of configuration management and project governance frameworks.
