Job Description

As an RF test Engineer (Space) you will join ourteam in Portsmouth to support our activities within theAerospacesector.

You will be responsible for performing RF and low voltage DC testing on satellite systems, ensuring designs meet strict technical, safety, and performance requirements. role involves working on-site across AM/PM shifts, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and supporting EMC testing and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform RF and low voltage DC testing on aerospace systems
  • Support EMC testing and validation activities as required
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure test results meet project specifications
  • Record, analyse, and report RF test results accurately
  • Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures across all shifts

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Experience in RF testing and low voltage DC testing
  • Background in aerospace or space industry is essential
  • Understanding of EMC principles and RF measurement techniques
  • Ability to work effectively across AM/PM shifts and on-site full time

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent military experience
  • Proven experience in RF test environments, ideally within aerospace or space
  • Familiarity with test procedures, instrumentation, and RF measurement techniques
  • Experience with EMC troubleshooting and validation
  • Knowledge of aerospace safety and regulatory standards
  • Ability to interpret schematics, RF diagrams, and test documentation
