As a Production Controller, you will join our Portsmouth team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. You will play a key role in coordinating production activities within a low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment, supporting the delivery of advanced payload systems. Acting as the link between the shop floor, planning, and supply chain teams, you will ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery against programme objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track daily production progress across manufacturing activities
- Coordinate between shop floor, planning, and supply chain teams
- Identify and report production deviations, proposing mitigation and recovery plans
- Support production reviews, audits, and reporting activities
- Ensure accurate tracking of work orders and manufacturing status within ERP systems
- Maintain clear communication across stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
- Support continuous improvement of production control processes
Qualifications Required Skills:
- Proven experience in production control or shopfloor coordination roles
- Experience working in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of production tracking and scheduling processes
- Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Experience in aerospace, defence, or other complex manufacturing industries
- Demonstrated experience in production planning, control, or coordination roles
- Experience within aerospace manufacturing or payload systems
- Familiarity with production audits and compliance processes
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes
