Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will join the Midlands team to support our activities within the Automotive sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead the design and development of power electronics components and subsystems for turbomachinery protection systems. This includes converters, inverters, rectifiers, and power distribution systems.
- Plan and execute comprehensive testing procedures to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of power electronics systems.
- Identify and select appropriate power electronic components, such as semiconductor devices, capacitors, and inductors, considering factors like voltage ratings, current handling capacity, switching frequency, and thermal characteristics.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor\’s degree in power electronics or related field.
- 5+ YOE as a power electronics/systems engineer and V&V background.
- Experience in all product development cycle, especially V&V.
