Job Description
As an Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will support the design, integration, and installation of complex electro-mechanical systems used within maritime environments. Working remotely as part of a distributed engineering team, you will contribute to the development and integration of equipment across naval and marine platforms, ensuring reliable performance in demanding operational conditions. This role is suited to an engineer with strong CAD capability in Solid Edge and hands-on experience supporting system integration or installation activities, ideally within naval, offshore, or maritime settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify electro-mechanical designs using Solid Edge.
- Support the integration of mechanical and electrical systems within maritime platforms.
- Contribute to equipment installation planning and system layout development.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems meet functional and environmental requirements.
- Provide technical input during system integration, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Assist in resolving design and integration challenges across complex platforms.
- Ensure designs and integration activities align with engineering standards and project requirements.
Qualifications Required Skills:
- Strong experience using Solid Edge (essential).
- Proven experience working with electro-mechanical systems.
- Background supporting system integration, installation, or equipment fit-out.
- Ability to work collaboratively across remote engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving and practical engineering mindset.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with electro-mechanical systems in maritime or naval environments.
- Experience installing or integrating equipment on maritime platforms (e.g., submarines, surface ships, or offshore vessels).
- Familiarity with the constraints and requirements of marine operating environments.
