We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Poole. In this role, you will take ownership of design and development activities, ensuring innovative, high-quality solutions are delivered on time and within budget. You will also lead projects and support the wider engineering team in achieving business and product objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Electrical/Electronic designs in line with customer, legislative, and internal requirements
  • Ensure designs are completed to required standards of quality, cost, and programme
  • Undertake activities in line with established design and design control procedures
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, including commercial and rugged equipment
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and other departments
  • Prepare and deliver design documentation to support projects and new business opportunities
  • Act as Design Project Leader (DPL) on assigned projects

Required Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of Creo (including 3D cabling design)
  • Zuken DS E3 (MANDATORY)
  • Electrical/Electronic CAD software
  • MRP systems
  • Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to deliver projects to time, cost, and quality targets

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to team development
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with MRP systems and engineering change processes
