What will you be doing? Join a dynamic team at the forefront of the UK's nuclear innovation as a Nuclear Systems Integrator, based in Derby or Warrington, where you'll play a key role in shaping the future of clean energy.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support design activities across nuclear systems to ensure requirements integration and compliance.
- Take ownership of cross-functional tasks that contribute to the continuous improvement of system design processes and procedures across the organisation.
- Engage regularly with key design stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and adherence to governance processes, including gated design reviews, definition reviews, and decision reviews.
- Develop comprehensive design documentation, including System Design Descriptions, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Functional Bill of Materials, Requirement Definitions, Decision Records, and other essential design materials.
Who are we looking for?
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
- Knowledge of Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR) operating principles or a solid expertise in ASME or other relevant design standards.
- You are passionate about engineering, result-oriented, and proactive.
Qualifications, experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, chemical engineering or a field related to Nuclear systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficient in delivering presentations and producing high-quality reports.
