What will you be doing? Are you ready to take your mechanical design and integration skills into one of the most exciting and critical industries of our time? We're looking for a Nuclear Island Assembly Engineer to support a cutting-edge nuclear project focused on the development and design integration of modular systems.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Progress the mechanical design and development of modular assemblies through internal design reviews.
- Collaborate with layout, installation, and CAD engineers to ensure smooth physical integration across systems.

Qualifications Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience working on complex mechanical installations or modular assemblies.
- Strong background in design integration and design-for-assembly principles.
- Familiarity with the challenges of working in highly regulated industries (nuclear, defence, aerospace, etc.).
- Understanding of configuration control and data management processes.
- Confident with technical documentation and review processes.
- Aware of industry standards related to mechanical safety, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- 5+ years of experience in nuclear (preferred) or a related discipline.
