We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of components sourced from our suppliers, with a particular focus on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) technologies. By fostering strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, you will play a key role in not only maintaining but continuously improving product quality and supplier performance.
- Conduct supplier quality audits and on-site inspections, ensuring compliance with agreed standards and specifications, especially for PCBs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to investigate and resolve quality issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support supplier development initiatives aimed at improving product quality and process capability.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and report on quality trends and risks.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality requirements are met from design through delivery.
- Travel regularly to supplier locations as needed to perform audits, reviews, and on-site support.
Passionate about engineering, you should have proven experience in supplier quality assurance, preferably in electronics or PCB manufacturing environments. Knowledgeable about PCB manufacturing processes and quality challenges, you should be comfortable with traveling regularly to supplier sites. Strong problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to quality issue resolution, are essential.
