What will you be doing? As a Mechanical Engineer - Valves Contracts you will join us in Bristol to support our activities within the Energy Sector. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Surveillance of technical documents and drawings from contractors.
  • Conduct technical reviews and resolve issues/queries.
  • Review, approve, and contribute to design development as required.
  • Assess and manage non-conformances, exemptions, and design changes.
  • Oversee the evolution of contract scope and technical requirements.
  • Review and approve contract amendments and exemptions (CTSs, ERs).
  • Coordinate with RD and client teams to ensure seamless integration of equipment with interfacing systems.
  • Provide regular updates on risks, issues, and progress to support contract delivery.
  • Ensure qualification activities align with contract progress and site requirements.

Who are we looking for? A strong background in technical leadership within nuclear, energy, or complex engineering projects. Experience in contract oversight, design review, and technical issue resolution. Proficiency in reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and qualification processes. Ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications: Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in designing and analysing reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and qualification processes.
  • Relevant Industrial background in either oil and gas, chemical, power or Nuclear sector.
