Working within a multidisciplinary Systems Engineering team, you will contribute to innovative clean energy solutions, supporting the design, modelling, grid integration, installation, and commissioning of next-generation power systems.Location: LondonOn Site: HybridClearance: ClearableExperience Level: Senior - 5-15 years of experienceKey Responsibilities: Contribute to the design and development of fuel cell and electrolyser stack systems and associated electrical architecturesDevelop electrical network designs for grid-connected fuel cell and electrolysis systems across AC and DC distribution networksPerform electrical modelling, power analysis, and technical feasibility assessmentsProduce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical design documentationReview and approve electrical designs and installation activities completed by contractors and suppliersProvide technical guidance to project teams on electrical design risks and integration challengesEnsure compliance with relevant electrical standards including IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and NFPAGenerate and review interface requirements for system integration and external connectionsSupport installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and validation of electrical systemsQualificationsRequired Skills: Strong experience in electrical design and power electronic systemsExperience delivering grid connection solutions for power generation or industrial power systemsPractical experience with AC and DC electrical distribution systemsKnowledge of cable sizing, protection device selection, earthing/grounding design, and electrical infrastructureExperience interfacing electrical systems with PLCs, microcontrollers, power converters, and protection systemsUnderstanding of national and international electrical standards and grid connection requirementsExperience using ETAP, EPLAN, MATLAB, or equivalent analysis and design toolsAbility to review electrical drawings, schematics, loads, BoMs, and design documentationStrong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skillsRequired Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalentmilitary experience.Experience working on complex electrical system design projectsStrong understanding of electrical power systems, network design, and integration activitiesExperience supporting projects through design, implementation, and commissioning phasesDesirable Skills: Experience within fuel cell, electrolysis, hydrogen, renewable energy, or power generation sectorsExperience working on MW-scale power systemsKnowledge of power system modelling and simulation techniquesExperience supporting research and development or prototype technology programmesFluency in Korean, Mandarin, Chinese, or GermanExperience working with international teams and global engineering partnersAdditional InformationWhy join us?
