You’ll design and implement RESTful APIs, collaborate on system architecture, and ensure compliance with secure coding practices and defence standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based applications within a service‑oriented architecture.
- Implement and manage RESTful APIs for integration and interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with defence standards and security requirements.
- Participate in system design and architecture reviews using Enterprise Architect.
- Apply Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java and REST API development.
- Experience with IntelliJ IDEA and Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence).
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect for system modelling.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and defence sector requirements.
