Join our team to develop Java‑based applications for advanced submarine systems in the Defence sector. You’ll design and implement RESTful APIs, collaborate on system architecture, and ensure compliance with secure coding practices and defence standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based applications within a service‑oriented architecture.
- Implement and manage RESTful APIs for integration and interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with defence standards and security requirements.
- Participate in system design and architecture reviews using Enterprise Architect.
- Apply Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java and REST API development.
- Experience with IntelliJ IDEA and Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence).
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect for system modelling.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and defence sector requirements.
Soft Skills & Collaboration:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multi‑disciplinary environments.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset.
