Job Description
What will you be doing?
We\’re seeking an Senior EC&I Engineer to take the reins of testing strategy and execution for a large-scale infrastructure programme within a regulated domain such as nuclear, defence, or energy. This position demands a hands-on leader capable of setting clear testing direction, crafting technical documentation, and working closely with third-party suppliers to guarantee quality and compliance.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop robust test frameworks and methodologies for control and instrumentation systems.
- Create comprehensive verification procedures aligned with system functionality and regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate directly with external vendors and partners to ensure precise and timely delivery of test programmes.
- Provide authoritative oversight on supplier-led testing; review, critique, and approve technical work as necessary.
- Take charge of commissioning phases and generate the full suite of quality assurance and validation documents.
- Ensure all testing activities align with the overarching safety case, technical specs, and programme quality benchmarks.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:

- Experienced in drafting and reviewing technical testing deliverables, such as verification plans, commissioning evidence, and QA records.
