Job Responsibilities
- Create detailed CAD models and drawings for interior and exterior trim components using Siemens NX.
- Control and maintain design data within Teamcenter, ensuring all documentation and attributes comply with programme standards.
- Convert styling concepts and surfaces into fully engineered, production‑ready designs.
- Work closely with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to deliver solutions that meet feasibility, quality, and cost objectives.
- Produce technical drawings, test plans, and release documentation in line with internal processes.
- Support the sourcing process by preparing RFQs/RFIs, carrying out technical assessments, and providing feedback to the engineering and purchasing teams.
Qualifications Required Skills
- Proficient in NX (3D CAD modelling and surfacing).
- Strong understanding of automotive design processes and product lifecycle.
- Experience in low‑volume, high‑quality production environments.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet tight deadlines.
