As a Project Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations, industry best practices, and internal standards. You will lead the execution and control of projects, focusing on minimizing risk and optimizing performance. Your role includes managing contracts under FIDIC and NEC frameworks, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You'll also play a key role in advising on legal and contractual matters, supporting dispute resolution, and mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the organization.
What will you be doing? As a Project Manager, you will join the Bridgwater team to support our activities within the Energy sector. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring projects are executed and controlled according to the best practices, meet customer requirements and minimise risks for the business.
- Developing and taking responsibility for the project management processes in line with the management system and best practice in the UK.
- Managing specific projects and bids in all aspects related to project management, project control, contract management, site management, site work delivery planning.
- Developing and overseeing site teams in accordance to projects needs.
- Managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders including third parties/vendors.
Who are we looking for? We are seeking a highly motivated individual with:
- FIDIC & NEC Contract Management: Expertise in administering and managing projects under FIDIC and NEC frameworks, ensuring compliance and minimizing contractual risks.
- Agile Project Management & CAPEX: Skilled in Agile methodologies, OKRs, and CAPEX planning to maximize project efficiency and accountability.
- Legal Advisory & Dispute Resolution: Experience in contract adjudications, advising on legal matters related to FIDIC and NEC contracts for government projects.
- Training & Mentorship: Background as a lecturer in project management, focusing on tendering, procurement, and contract law.
