As a Recruiter – Contractor Hiring for one of ALTEN's subsidiaries, you will be responsible for sourcing and engaging contractors and freelance consultants to support our IT projects across the UK. The role focuses on building a reliable and compliant contractor network while working closely with business teams to respond quickly to project-based staffing needs in regulated environments.

Key responsibilities:
  • Source and engage contractors and freelance consultants for IT roles
  • Build and maintain a strong contractor and contingent workforce pipeline
  • Partner with Competence Centers Managers and Sales to understand project requirements and timelines
  • Manage the contractor recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding
  • Develop long-term relationships with contractors to support repeat engagements
  • Monitor contractor market trends, availability, and rate environments
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, client requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Track and report contractor recruitment activity and KPIs
Qualifications:
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in contractor or contingent workforce recruitment
  • Strong understanding of the UK contractor and freelance recruitment market
  • Experience recruiting IT, engineering, or technical profiles

The position is located in Central London.
