We are looking for an experienced Requirements Manager with a strong systems engineering background to support safety-critical programmes in Bristol. The role focuses on managing, structuring, and controlling requirements across complex engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain requirements across the full systems lifecycle
- Ensure requirements are clear, traceable, and verifiable
- Aligned with system design and stakeholder needs
- Lead requirements reviews and support technical decision-making
- Work closely with systems, design, and delivery teams
- Support compliance with engineering standards and project governance
Required Skills:
- Strong systems engineering background
- Proven experience in requirements management
- Experience working in safety-critical or regulated environments (defence, aerospace, nuclear, rail, etc.)
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills
- Requirements enrichment experience (breaking down high-level requirements into detailed, usable system requirements)
- Experience using requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS, Polarion, Jama)
