We are looking for an experienced Junior Electrical Engineer to manage and supervise all aspects of Instrumentation and Control cabling and electrical design for the Hinkley Point C project. This role focuses on ensuring consistency, quality, and integration of cabling studies, electrical designs, and supplier interfaces, while supporting loop diagrams, I/O lists, and cable routing/sizing. You will act as the technical point of contact for electrical and I&C interfaces, validating supplier data and supporting installation planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and consolidate cabling and electrical design inputs from I&C Engineers (Distributed Control Systems and loop diagrams), Suppliers (actuators, sensors, cable routing, and conduits), and System Engineers (HVAC, fluid, and electrical systems).
- Perform consistency checks on collected electrical and cabling data, identifying discrepancies and managing associated design changes.
- Produce and maintain Input-Output (I/O) Lists and interface documentation for turnkey contracts.
- Design and validate cable routing, sizing, and loop connections, ensuring compliance with nuclear and electrical safety standards.
- Track and monitor the maturity of supplier feedback, managing follow-up on changes, interface issues, and design updates.
- Liaise with installation teams to support accurate implementation of cabling and electrical designs on site.
Qualifications Required Skills:
- Experience in I&C cabling and electrical design in industrial or nuclear environments.
- Electrical Design in I&C.
- Knowledge of loop diagrams, I/O lists, and control systems integration.
- Experience with cable routing, sizing, and installation design.
- Ability to consolidate and review supplier studies, identifying inconsistencies and resolving design issues.
- Familiarity with nuclear safety standards and regulated environments.
- Experience coordinating across multi-disciplinary engineering and supplier teams.
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working on Nuclear Projects.
- Experience with turnkey contracts and supplier coordination.
- Knowledge of CAD or cable management software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar).
- Experience with installation planning and electrical interface verification.
