Play a pivotal role in shaping Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) strategy within a major aerospace actuation programme. You’ll support the delivery of a new integrated MBSE/MBSA framework across highly complex electro-mechanical systems used in flight-critical environments. This is a high-impact, hands-on opportunity to embed structured modelling tools and processes that will be adopted across an entire business unit. Location: Wolverhampton (Hybrid/Remote)

Clearance: Must be eligible for UK SC Security Clearance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and implementation of a fully integrated MBSE framework for aerospace actuation systems
  • Use CAMEO Systems Modeler to support execution of technical modelling plans and process integration
  • Define procedures, modelling standards and workflows to be deployed across product teams
  • Provide expert guidance and mentoring to internal engineers unfamiliar with CAMEO
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align modelling activities with systems engineering needs
  • Deliver critical documentation, process artefacts, and toolkits aligned with the aerospace product lifecycle

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • CAMEO Systems Modeler – Advanced user with experience setting up and deploying modelling frameworks
  • Deep knowledge of MBSE principles, SysML, and lifecycle applications in engineering
  • Strong capability to define and deliver processes, standards, and training materials
  • Prior experience in aerospace, defence, or other safety-critical industries
  • Ability to work autonomously and liaise across engineering functions

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to Model-Based Safety Analysis (MBSA)
  • Experience using CAMEO for certification or verification and validation (V&V)
  • Familiarity with wider MBSE toolchains such as MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical, or related discipline OR a relevant technical military background with equivalent hands-on engineering experience
  • Must be eligible for UK SC Security Clearance (Minimum 5 Years in the UK)
