An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to support the delivery of high-reliability engineering products within a regulated manufacturing environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality standards, supporting inspections, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.

Location: Banbury

On-site Requirement: On Site

Seniority: 5+ Years Experience

Security Clearance: Candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain BPSS clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support product and process quality assurance activities.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections and quality assessments.
  • Review engineering documentation and drawings for compliance.
  • Investigate quality issues and support corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality records and documentation within business systems.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve quality performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering quality environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience carrying out dimensional inspections and quality verification activities within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting quality assurance processes and driving compliance to engineering standards.
  • Competent user of SAP for quality, manufacturing, or engineering-related activities.
  • Experience investigating quality issues and supporting corrective and preventive action processes.

Soft Skills & Collaboration:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills when working with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier teams.
  • Organised and methodical approach to managing quality documentation and records.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to solving quality-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or relevant technical military background with equivalent experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience using Solumina or similar manufacturing execution systems.
  • Knowledge of DISCUS or other quality management tools.
  • Previous experience within aerospace, defence, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or process improvement initiatives.
