Our Operational Management Control Department aims to enable the Group’s various Directors to manage their business units, visualize and monitor their performance in real time, set objectives and related action plans, and support decision-making.
The Front Office Operational Management Control function focuses on measuring and improving commercial performance by supporting Directors and Sales teams in managing their activities.
YOUR MISSIONS
Based in London and working closely with a team of Commercial Controllers in Paris, your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Business Partnering: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior Operational Directors, supporting them in managing commercial performance and driving strategic initiatives.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare insightful analyses for decision-making bodies, particularly for monthly Executive Committee meetings.
- Performance Management: Assist Commercial Controllers during monthly reviews with Directors by presenting updated figures and analyses, defining action plans, and leading performance recovery initiatives for underperforming Business Managers.
- Cross-Country Coordination: Collaborate with peers in France and Germany to master production processes, ensure the reliability of reporting, and oversee the management and optimization of reporting tools.
- Tool Development: Contribute to the definition and implementation of new tools to enhance departmental efficiency and insight generation.
- Continuous Improvement & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date and compliant procedures, while proactively identifying and proposing improvements to processes and performance.
As part of the semi-annual processes, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and overseeing the preparation of Career Committee reports for Business Managers.
- Monitoring the progress and compliance of commercial reorganizations.
- Calculating Business Managers’ targets in coordination with the relevant Directors.
- Calculating and analyzing Business Managers’ commissions, and, together with the Directors, determining the amounts and rationale for any exceptions to be granted.
PROFILE
- Degree from a top engineering or business school
- At least 4 years of experience, preferably within a general management environment or a consulting firm, ideally with exposure to commercial performance management
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and position yourself as a true business partner
- Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
- Strong command of Excel is essential; knowledge of Power BI would be an asset
- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively in a professional environment
