Job Description
Join ALTEN as we support a globally renowned aerospace programme focused on advanced propulsion technologies. This is a unique opportunity to drive
product quality
across complex engineering lifecycles. You will lead and embed
AS9145 compliant APQP practices
from concept through to production—ensuring excellence at every stage of development. Help define the standards for tomorrow\’s most
innovative aerospace systems

Key Responsibilities
- Lead APQP deployment
across internal and supplier teams, supporting New Product Introduction, design changes, and major process updates - Develop and manage APQP plans
including gate reviews, milestones, and compliance deliverables in line with
AS9145
and customer requirements - Support or lead the creation and
submission of PPAP documentation
, ensuring accuracy and traceability - Conduct
DFMEA
and
PFMEA
sessions, support Control Plan development, and drive early risk identification and mitigation strategies - Collaborate closely with
engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality
teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle - Coach suppliers
on APQP and PPAP expectations, facilitating readiness reviews and supporting right-first-time quality culture - Track progress through
APQP metrics and dashboards
, presenting findings to key stakeholders across internal and external reviews - Promote
continuous improvement
, support lessons learned workshops, and contribute to internal capability development in APQP methodology

Skills and Experience Required
- Degree-qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality (or equivalent industrial experience)
- Proven expertise in

, and supporting standards - Hands-on experience using
