Are you an experienced Aerospace DFMEA Engineer looking to make an impact in the aerospace industry? Join ALTEN and support a critical project in the civil aerospace sector, where you’ll play a key role in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). You’ll collaborate with a leading team to ensure the reliability and safety of advanced aerospace systems, working on sub-systems and design inputs that feed into critical project stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide DFMEA support for sub-systems and design inputs, ensuring robust analysis and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to pass on critical inputs and align DFMEA work with project requirements.
  • Work in a managed service provider (MSP) environment, feeding into critical project stages.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting, with exposure to DOORS as a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or relevant technical military background with equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, with a focus on DFMEA.
  • Experience in general systems engineering, preferably with an electrical or electronic background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work in a secure environment with SC Clearance.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with DOORS for requirements management.
  • Experience working in managed service provider (MSP) environments.
  • Knowledge of aerospace systems or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) processes.
